Natchez, MS: 7 March 1864. Broadside (330 x 260 mm). Signed in print by Colonel A. K. Johnson and T. A. Ralston, AAAG. Manuscript docketing on verso. Condition : browning and staining, docketing visible recto. general orders broadside from union-occupied natchez. General Orders No. 5 continues by ordering that all requisitions for liquors must go through Kelly as well. Natchez was captured by Union forces following the fall of Port Hudson and occupied by Grant in 1863. A scarce broadside, with no copies listed in Hummel or OCLC.
