Mates, FOUR-LANGUAGE SHIP'S PAPERS (French, Spanish, English, Dutch) for the whaling vessel William & Eliza, captained by David Paddock, sailing from New Bedford to the "Pacific Ocean," with a cargo of "Provisions for the use of the Officers and Crew and Utensils for Obtaining a Cargo of Oil," with notary's signed attestation that Capt. Buchanan has "made oath that no Subjects of the present Belligerent powers have any part or portion of the said ship."
