Four unpublished letters signed ('Nap', twice, 'Np' and 'Napol') to the Duke of Feltre (General Clarke), Paris, 8 and 16 April 1811, and St Cloud, 21 April 1811 (two) , in the first sending a report by the Prince of Eckmühl (Marshal Davout) on the situation of the army of Germany, and requesting him to relay the observations in it to different offices for reply, 'réponse article par article', and sending documents so that Feltre can have all the corrections carried out, one page, 4° ; the second giving instructions for the defence of the islands of Walcheren and Schouven and other fortresses, remarking on the need for cavalry for swift communications along the coast, one page, 4°, integral blank leaf ; the third demanding a report on the regiment of Illyria, four lines written on one page, 4° ; the fourth demanding a report on a general in the Westphalian service, 'où à-t-il servi? est ce un bon officier?', four lines written on one page, 4°, contemporary annotations pinned to the lower margin of each letter.
