Netherlandish or German, 16 century, carved oak sculpture of Christ carrying an orb on the shoulder of Saint Christopher, the saint supporting himself with staff whilst wading through a river, some loss notably to the arm of both Christ and St Christopher and his staff, old worm holes and a brass screw to the rear, 34 cm high, mounted on a later stained oak block and an oak plinth, overall height 42.5 cm (Quantity: 1) Provenance: Downside Abbey, Somerset, UK.
