Manufactured by Newton & Son, 66 Chancery Lane and 3 Fleet Street, Temple Bar London. Published Jan 1st 1831 A 12-inch diameter terrestrial globe, made up of twelve engraved and coloured paper gores, the oceans showing the tracks of various navigators and voyages of discovery, with an improved analemma, many continents showing mountain ranges, lakes and detailed information (the globe with serious area and paper loss at the South Atlantic Ocean, the North Atlantic with similar damage, many other old abrasions) , with engraved brass meridian circle divided in four quadrants, on tripod stand, the baluster-turned supports united by stretchers, the horizon ring with maker's label dated 1852 -- 19-inches (48.3cm.) high See Illustration
