A fine brass souvenir medallion stamped Niagara on one side, and with American crest with shield and eagle on the other side. When opened, the medallion reveals an accordion-folded series of 10 tinted lithographs, each 1.75 in. in diameter, featuring scenes based on photographs by Charles Bierstadt Bierstadt's 1869 copyright and Niagara Falls address interior of both sides of medallion. Provenance: From the Estate of Kenneth Erwin, Portland, Michigan Condition: The ten lithographs have been reinforced on verso at the joints with tape, and are no longer connected to either side of the medallion. We have previously sold one similar example, which contained 16 images, meaning this one may be missing six.
