Lot of 2. Exceptionally clear ninth plate ambrotype of a well dressed little boy that appears to be pouting. His cheeks are lightly tinted pink and his plaid gown is lightly tinted blue. The subject stands beside a table upon which his toy cat as well as what looks to be a cased image is displayed. Housed in full pressed paper case with some light surface wear. Sixth plate daguerreotype of a young man seated in a studio setting, resting his head on his hand. The gentleman is dressed in his finest, wearing a jacket, vest, bow tie, and top hat. Some slight clouding in image, contrast a little light, few spots. Housed in full leather case separated at hinge but reinforced by previous owner. Some surface wear to case.
