A bound MGM script department copy of Marie Antoinette, MGM 1938, containing over forty original scene marking bookmarks starting with "Austria" and ending with "Guillotine." The script is dated "12/3/37" with additional hand notations reading "OK to 1/12 1-24 1- 27" The front cover of the script is additionally annotated in pencil "For Miss Norma Shearer." Norma Shearer was nominated for an Academy Award® for Best Actress in a Leading Role starring opposite Tyrone Power and John Barrymore. Together with an MGM publicity book for the film and two spiral bound programs for the George Eastman House, June of 1970 film tribute series to Norma Shearer with correspondence addressed to Shearer concerning the tribute. 11 1/2 x 10in
