Les Kasbahs de l'Atlas. single volume, number 399 of 520 copies, plates; 30 coloured plates printed on thick card, loose as issued, text: photograph of the author, aluminium endpapers with maps, bound in original loose wove decorative cloth, plates and text together in original vellum portfolio, internally lined with aluminium, ties, large 4to., Paris, 1930. The plates that make up this album, reproduce paintings and drawings that Majorelle made between 1920 and 1929 and demonstrate his earliest use of powdered gold and silver in his work. Condition Report: The aluminium endpaper maps and aluminium inside of portfolio with scuffing (probably as usual), occasional spotting (heavy on blank endpapers, also probably as usual), upper cover and spine faded, ties with some loss.
