Bookends made of olive wood. [Palestine, 19th century]. Flat wooden board, inscribed ”ירושלם Jerusalem”. Hinged, fold-down panels, for supporting books. On the right panel appears an engraved image of the Dome of the Rock and on the left panel - the Western Wall. The right panel, with part of the wooden base can be pulled out to allow more storage space. 34.5X14 cm. Max. height: 14.5 cm. Good condition. Some stains and some damages.
