With music by Marvin Hamlisch and lyrics by Edward Kleban. The original A Chorus Line ran for 6,137 performances, was nominated for a record 12 Tony awards, and won the Pulitzer Prize for drama. This script was revised for the first National Tour of the hit musical. This copy is signed by Sammy Williams who not only created the character of "Paul" on stage but won the 1976 Tony for "Best Performance by a Leading Actor." Williams was also present and contributed to the workshops that served as the genesis of the play. Exhibiting age, some toning to pages, and handling.
