Illustrated with lithographed pl. (n. 1-and 1-executed from drawings by the author, coloured by hand and heightened with gum arabic. The first series of plates shows the birds in their different habitats, the second contains figures of heads and feet. The introduction of this work gives a general account of the group of birds, especially as regards their occurrence in different habitats. In this volume species are enumerated as belonging to the fauna of the country.
