(Heavy worming in HH1-Xx8 and 3D1-3L1 affecting a few side-notes and lighter worming in n2-Gg4, light waterstaining in last few quires.) 17th-century French citron morocco, sides centred with the gilt arms of Louis Phelypeaux [Olivier 2262, fer 1] surrounded by a semé of ermines, salamanders and rosettes, his monogram at corners and in compartments of spine, gilt turn-ins, gilt edges (minor rubbing). Provenance : Louis Phelypeaux (1653-1727; binding).
