With cancel titles, and without cancellanda sometimes retained. 2 folding maps (of 3, lacking the Okhotsk map) and 4 engraved plates (of 5, lacking the rock sample plate, although Lada-Mocarski notes variation in the number and selection of the plates between copies), 2 of these hand-coloured. (Plates with some creasing and a few short tears, one tear with an old repair.) Contemporary boards, edges sprinkled red (extremities rubbed, spine heads scuffed). Provenance : early shelf labels on spines.
