Later three-quarters calf, marbled sides. 10 1/2 x 8 1/4 inches (27 x 21 cm); the three works complete with all plates; various paginations. The second volume partially bound, the third with the front joint cracking, all volumes with some degree of foxing, generally mild. The first three of Parry's Arctic voyages. Parry was successful as an Arctic explorer, ultimately (in his 1827 voyage) reaching the farthest northwards of any explorer until 1875. He was also the most succesful of all the voyagers who sought the elusive (and until recent ice melt, illusory) Northwest Passage. C
