Parker and Son, 1854. ⁂ An interesting association copy, Richard Garnett (1835-1906), scholar, librarian, biographer and poet, worked with Patmore at the British Museum, becoming a close friend and critic of the poet, ultimately editing an anthology of his work in 1879.
