A group of 10 badges, comprising: two large "night access" passes, engraved with "PVII," metal and probably luminous paint, remains of leather loop riveted at top, 2½ inches in diameter; two badges with "PVII" and "HAP" or "HVP" ("Heeresanstalt Peenemünde" or "Heeresversuchsanstalt Peenemünde") text, metal and anodizing, 1½ inches across; six small disc-form badges, some with "HVP," others anodized including a red-anodized square badge with the letters "PW E 2" (Peenemünde West Entwicklung (Development) or Erprobungsstelle (Test Site) number 2). "PVII" is the abbreviated name for "Prüfstand VII" (Test Stand 7), the "launch pad" of the V-2 rocket. The two PVII/HAP/HPV badges appear to incorporate the "A" of HAP in a rocket design. The V-1 flying bomb was produced at Peenemünde West.
