PERRAULT, Charles (1628-1703).] Cinderella; or The Little Glass Slipper; Versified and beautifully illustrated with figures . London: S. and J. Fuller, 1814. 12° (130 x 100mm). Cut-out lithographed folding coach, 6 cut-out figures, 2 heads and 3 (of 5) hats, all hand-coloured, laid in. (Light scattered spotting.) Original stitched printed wrappers, original printed slipcase (spotting, slipcase with early repair, lower joint craked, small ticket on lower side of slipcase). FIRST BRITISH EDITION of this paper-doll book - one of the rarest of the Fuller cut-out books. Not in the Osborne Collection, nor in the Herbert Hosmer collection; Gumuchian 1986, the copy lacking one costume and not mentioning hats; Marian Howard Paper Dolls (1981), the copy illustrated apparently lacking the original slipcase and one hat; d'Alte Welch 987.11 records two copies of a Philadelphia 1815 edition of this version, both lacking figures and in c.1825 remainder wrappers.
