Lot of 6 photographs, ranging in size from 3.75 x 3.25 in. to 6.5 x 4.75 in., showing Buffalo Bill traveling by either horse-drawn carriage or automobile. In one photograph, Buffalo Bill drives a team of dark horses, with studio imprint of Olive Studio, St. Louis, MO on mount. In another image, he rides in a carriage pulled by two white horses down a street with many pedestrians and a tall fence, with verso inscription reading, "Snapshot taken while parade / was passing Columbia College / Monday, May 26th 1902 / F.H.L." Buffalo Bill also appears as a passenger in a 1910 Buick, along with Pawnee Chief in a long feathered headdress. Inscription on verso reads in part, "Uncle Al Klemme - driver / Buffalo Bill / Chief?. . . the building in the back-ground is the Scott County Iowa Court House, on 4th St in Davenport, Iowa. Provenance:Descended directly in the family of William F. Buffalo Bill Cody Condition: Condition varies. Please refer to digital images for conditions of specific photographs.
