'Pocket Strut Camera, c. 1891-93 One of only four examples and three units currently known to us: Gaertig, Görlitz or Abring IV no. 3750 "Elb Spreizenkamera" or Martin catalog (1893) from Emilio Resti Milano p. 19 "Le Néo". For 9 x 12 cm, fold-away with 153 x 120 x 35 mm (without sunshade) very compact, achromatic lens approx. 11/4 in., rotating gravity shutter, grey-green bellows with red corners, some parts re-mounted, with focusing screen back and one double-cassette. Very unusual strut construction. This early model is the original version without the later stabilization clamp as seen in Abring. With brass plaque: "Gustav Gaertig Görlitz". Very rare! Landschaftsachromat ca. 11/110 mm, rotierender Fallverschluß mit aufgesetzter Sonnenblende, graugrüner Leinenbalgen mit purpurnem Lederrand, Ecken z.T. neu verklebt, klappbares Mattscheibenrückteil, mit einer Doppelkassette. Höchst ungewöhnliche Spreizenkonstruktion, noch original ohne die Stabilisierungsleiste, wie im Abring abgebildet, da keine Schraublöcher an Objektivplatine vorhanden.
