Poetical Miscellany.- Collection (A) of Divine Hymns and Poems upon several occasions, third edition, engraved frontispiece, trimmed, contemporary and near contemporary inscriptions to early blank, ink signature to title, later owner's inscription at end, lacking marbled front free endpaper, light browning to first and last few leaves, contemporary panelled morocco, slight bumping to corners and extremities, 1719. ⁂ Ink inscription to blank reads, "Eliz. Alicia Brooke her booke the gift of my Dear Brother Richard Brooke. Elizabeth-Alicia Brooke (later Wilbraham, d.1737), daughter of Sir Thomas Brooke (1664-1739), of Norton Priory, Cheshire. She had an older brother, Richard, who died in 1720, which suggests that this must have been given to her very close to publication.
