Circa 1932. Working. This is the pre-war Japanese version of the moving face walking tin toy. It is identical in every respect to the Louis Marx toy except for the colors. As with most other pre-war Japanese copies, the toy makers chose much brighter colors creating more eye appeal. Trademarked CK Tokyo on the back of one foot. Provenance: Collection of Carl Lobel.
