Color images in each state showing projects undertaken by the PWA there: bridges and roads (including the overseas highway to the Florida Keys); wharves and breakwaters; canals and railroads; hospitals and sanitariums; capitols, schools, universities and dormitories; armories, field houses and stadiums; sewage plants and sewage systems; dams; housing and slum clearance; forest conservation and reforestation; post offices and airports; public markets (New Orleans); swimming pools; electrical plants; air ports; and even a war memorial (Indianapolis).
