On title page inked title and year 'I.B.X' on the colophon, lapis notes on title page. Pregevole e rara prima edizione aldina dell'Institutio oratoria curata da Andrea Navagero e Giovanni Battista Ramusio, i cui nomi figurano al verso del frontespizio: proprio a Ramusio va il merito di aver procurato all'umanista veneziano - che nel triennio 1513-1516 licenzio la maggior parte delle curatele filologiche condotte su testi latini per l'officina manuziana - un codice su cui lavorare. Beautiful and rare aldine edition of the Institutio oratoria edited by Andrea Navagero and Giovanni Battist ramusio, whose name appears on the verso of the title page: Ramusio is credited with having procured to the humanist Venetian - that in the three years 1513-1516 he dismissed most receiverships philological conducted on Latin texts for the workshop Manuziana - a code to work.
