Wilson to the Ministry of Transport in quite a lot of detail regarding this collision, plus 12 full page photographs and a very large fold out diagram (map) of the station illustrating the three wrecked trains. On blue card cover size 8¼” x 13”. This preventable collision due to cost cutting by previous railway companies and Governments of that period involving three trains cost the lives of 112 people being Britain’s worst post war railway disaster
