(7.5 x 11.8 cm), matted, framed. Condition: Minor wear at edges. N.B. Raoul Ubac was a French painter, sculptor, photographer, and engraver. In the late 1930s he was active in the Surrealist movement, and his photographs appeared frequently in the Surrealist publication Minotaure , alongside work by Brassaï, Jacques-André-Boiffard, and Eugène Atget Ubac experimented with multiple processes, including the combination of negatives, double exposures, and solarization before giving up photography in 1945.
