Summer Sunrise Porcelain Vase Designed by Paul Dachsel, model. no. 619, circa 1900-05 Of tapering cylindrical form, with a bulbous mouth and rim and shaped foliate handles, the upper section decorated with a gilt sun radiating through matte lilac clouds against a tan ground, the lower section with an undulating band of stylized white blossoms against a shaded matte green ground. appears to be in good condition; there is a very small flake loss on the underside, located near the rim edge, which may in fact be an open bubble and in the making (it is not of any consequence); the interior of the vase has a small area that was not coated in glaze and consequently, this area is slightly discolored; the side of the vase is impressed with the initials "P.D." for Paul Dachsel; the underside is stamped with the oval Amphora company logo and the numerals 619 and 14; there are also faint traces of a red colored stamp mark.
