Hard Earthenware Portrait Vase Allegory of Austria-Hungary Designed by Nikolaus Kannhauser, circa 1900 Of ovoid form, depicting a young woman in profile wearing a 'jeweled' crown or helmet on her head and gazing towards a golden sunset against a mottled dark sage green ground. Appears to be generally good condition overall with exception of small shallow flake loss to bottom front rim edge; crazing to glaze; burst bubbles to glaze interior, but none of consequence; black scuffing to interior; stamped cartouche mark AMPHORA AUSTRIA and crown mark, red decal mark RSTK, stamped 02 043
