Ink stamps of Rabbi "Zalman Sorotzkin, Rabbi of Lutsk" [President of Mo'etzet Gedolei HaTorah (World Rabbinic Council)], and "Rabbi Yisrael Meir Freimann, Rabbi of Ostrava". The book "Besamim Rosh" was the focal point of a raging polemic: Rabbi Mordechai Benet, the Chatham Sofer and others, claimed that the book was a forgery and that these responsa were not the fruit of the Rosh's pen, but of the publisher's, Rabbi Saul Berlin.
