Produced for Berlin by Christie's, before the sale of the painting at auction Thursday, November 12, 1998, and accompanied with the Christie's description; and an Original Polaroid by Berlin of another painting by Richter taken from her self-portrait series of Polaroids. Richter subsequently made a series of six paintings of her based on these, in this placing her against a blurred image of his 1967 erotic painting Badende .
