"Akt im Raum" Gemälde - Öl/Leinwand, 50 cm x 40 cm, verso bezeichnet, signiert und datiert 2000 Neon Real- Rolf Biebl, Clemens Gröszer und Harald K. Schulze Als wir drei 1981 in der Bilderkneipe in Berlin Friedrichshagen unsere Künstlergruppe gründeten gab es diverse Gründe das zu tun. Wir waren jung hatten gerade das Studium an der Kunsthochschule Berlin Weißensee hinter uns und wollten die Welt der bildenden Kunst betreten. Uns ging es darum eine extrem energetische Malerei und Plastik zu entwickeln ohne auf Konventionen zu achten , ohne Kompromisse und totaler Freiheit im Ausdruck verpflichtet. Uns war es wichtig bestimmte Traditionen der Kunst voranzubringen , also diese Bereiche zu berühren und weiterzuführen . Als Gruppierung zu agieren erlaubte uns Schutz und Solidarisierung gegenseitig zu erfahren. Wir lagen damit richtig , weil uns sofort viele Gegenkräfte entgegentraten , Verriss in den Systemmedien, Abhängung von Bildern oder Versuche Ausstellungen zu schließen. Solche Vorgänge haben uns dann aber eher beflügelt unseren Weg weiterzugehen. Mit Abstand betrachtet lässt sich sagen, dass wir es geschafft haben unsere Ziele umzusetzen, also unverwechselbar maximale künstlerische Freiheit anzuwenden um Zeitgeist zu fixieren. Schulze When the three of us formed our group of artists in 1981 in the Bilderkneipe in Berlin Friedrichshagen there were various reasons to do this. We were young and had just finished our studies at the Berlin Weissensee School of Art and wanted to enter the world of fine arts. Our aim was to develop extremely energetic painting and sculptures without boarders Respecting conventions without make compromises and to have total freedom of expression. It was important to us to push certain traditions of art, therefore to touch areas and carrying foward these. Acting as a group allowed us to protect and show solidarity with each other of the group. We were right because we immediately faced many opposing forces, get scathing reviews in the system media, hanging pictures or attempts to close exhibitions. Such processes spurred to give us wings to continue on our way. From a distance it can be said that we have realized our goals, viz. to get unmistakably maximum artistic freedom to fix the zeitgeist. quote from Rolf Biebl
