Roosevelt Pres."), drawn on Bank of New York and Trust Company, New York, 30 November 1927. 1 p., oblong (3 x 8¼ in.), printed in several decorative types . FUNDING HIS FAVORITE CHARITY, Roosevelt pays $334.01 to E. T. Curtis, manager of the Georgia Warm Springs Foundation. FDR first took his polio ravaged legs to Warm Springs in 1924 and in 1926 bought the property and created the Georgia Warm Springs Foundation. He vacationed in Georgia every March and April and died there on 12 April 1945. -- TRUMAN, Harry S. (1884-1972). Partly printed check accomplished and signed ("Harry S. Truman"), drawn on City Bank of Kansas City, K. C. Mo., 12 May 1935. 1 p., oblong (2¾ x 6¼ in.) . In his first year as Senator from Missouri (or as cynical opponents unfairly quipped, "the Senator from Pendergast"), Harry Truman writes a check for $5.00 for Ray Bengert. -- WILSON, Woodrow (1856-1924). Partly printed check accomplished and signed ("Woodrow Wilson"), drawn on the Princeton Bank, Princeton, 10 October 1900. 1 p., oblong (2¾ x 6 7/8 in.) . A check for $162.50 to The Woman's College of Baltimore, written while Wilson was professor of jurisprudence and political economy at Princeton. Together 3 items . (3)
