First edition, 440 of 500 deluxe copies, signed by Roosevelt African Game Trails records the Smithsonian-Roosevelt African Expedition, which is how Roosevelt spent the majority of his post-White House years. With their route taking them through British-held portions of the continent, the party bagged 512 big game animals and numerous other specimens for the Smithsonian Institution and the American Museum of Natural History.
