Paramount, 1954. Designed by Edith Head Gouache and ink on illustration paper, with various approval initials including "E.H." representing Head, as well as various instructions in pencil and fabric swatches on each sketch. This unusual musical spoof on the Western genre is a sight to behold with its stark but colorful sets and stage-like presentation. Clooney is a delight as she sings, dances, and wisecracks throughout the picture. Clooney wears the striped red and white dress when she sings the song, "Red Garters." The fabric is an unusual leatherette-type material, and the actual costume still survives and can currently be viewed at the Rosemary Clooney House and Museum in her home state of Kentucky. Clooney wears the red and white plaid gown (the fabric was changed from a swirly red and white design to plaid) in the scene where she sings the song, "Good Intentions." The red sequined gown is worn in a brief saloon scene. Exhibiting expected age and handling. With a corresponding still from the film.
