Spine partially defective, boards rubbed, scattered foxing throughout, the plates generally clean (though their mounts with foxing). A classic Russian view book, from a journey undertaken in 1837. Also present is a smaller text volume pertaining to Demidoff's voyage, apparently the 1854 second edition, with hand-colored plates and a folding map (lacking the title page, the binding severely worn).
