Sackville-West (Vita) The Heir, number 98 of 100 copies , signed by the author beneath the portrait frontispiece , 2 signed presentation inscriptions from Victoria Sackville-West (the author's mother) and A.L.s. from the same loosely inserted, endpapers browned, original cloth-backed boards, paper label to spine, a few patches of darkening, spine ends and corners a little bumped, uncut, 8vo, Privately Printed, 1922. ⁂ The effusive inscriptions and letter are to a Miss le Bosquet, thanking her 'for all her kindness to "V. Sackville-West".', presumably here referring to Vita. Victoria Sackville-West also identifies herself as 'B.M.' the dedicatee, what act of kindness prompted this response is sadly unclear.
