Woodcut illustration on title and three in text, one large woodcut initial. 17th-century blindstamped pigskin over wooden boards, two brass clasps, edges stained blue. Later edition. VD16 J670. Provenance: Contemporary manuscript annotations. Presumably collected by a German scholar including works on logic, music and nutrition. BOUND WITH: ARISTOTLE. 384-322 B.C. Pellechet assigns this edition to Martin Flach. This nutritional guide was immensely popular. It has been attributed to Arnald de Villanoca and Johannes Mediolanensis, but the author and the exact date of the Regimen are unknown.
