Samuel FossoCameroonianb.1962Le Marin, Tati Series, 1997 signed, titled and editioned 4 of 8 (on accompanying certificate of authenticity)chromogenic print, printed 2003126 by 100cm., 49⅝ by 39⅜in.framed: 130.5 by 105cm., 51⅜ by 41⅜in.Condition reportColour:Please note colours in the online catalogue illustration may vary depending on screen settings. The work is in very good condition. The print displays very strong colour and saturation. It is flush-mounted to aluminium. There are faint impression lines running parallel to all edges, with associated faint residue in the same area and scattered light bubbling along the framing edge. Please note there is a small pinprick to the white background in the upper right quadrant and a collection of incredibly faint scratches to the figure’s right arm, only visible in raking light. A very faint pinprick exists to the left of the figure’s head, visible in raking light.
