A JEWELLED BINDING SET WITH 37 JEWELS, BY SANGORSKI AND SUTCLIFFE straight grained red morocco, upper cover with central oval sunken panel of green morocco and a Peacock with outspread tail, the body inlaid in blue, white and brown morocco, the tail tooled in gold and morocco, peacock feathers tooled in gilt and morocco and set with a circle of 31 OF GOLD AND TURQUOISE GARNETS, the Peacock eye and comb in white morocco, surrounded by an all over floral design in gilt, with large tudor roses in corners, within a gilt tooled blue morocco border, lower cover in a matching tudor rose design, gilt and gauffered edges, two filigrane brass claps fitted with 6 jewels, spine in six compartments, gilt lettered green morocco lettering pieces in two, others with a grap or tudor rose design, blue morocco doublures and blue silk linings (very minor rubbing to spine ends); cloth folding case. LIMITED EDITION, number 3 of 10 copies specially bound by Sangorski and Sutcliffe with "an original unpublished composition by E. Geddes, illustrating Quatrain XIII with an illuminated border by Sangorski and Sutcliffe and painted on vellum especially for this copy."
