Chapelier printed stationery, ''Pianos - Musique - Lutherie - Scores'', to a friend, in French. Schmitt states `I will make deliver at M. Chevillard´s home, on Monday, 2 rue Moncey, two pieces of music for voice and orchestra, one of them having never been played anywhere, and the second has only been played at the Nationale, that means a place not for ''first auditions''..´, further, and before concluding, saying `No need to tell you that I would be very glad if you would consider including them in your program..´
