Original editions. The first booklet is a brilliant statement of the experiments carried out by Galvani on muscle contractions of frogs, exposed in the work De Viribus electricitatis in Motu Musculari, published in 1792; the second contains a comprehensive presentation of similar experiences, contemporary and parallel those of Galvani, by Eusebio Valli. An extract of the first letter was also published in the Brugnatelli Newspaper, Book II, 1792, pp. 94-109 but this booklet is the earlier. Cfr. Ronalds, p. 17.
