Text woodcuts (occasional light staining and spotting to text). 17th-century blind ruled sheep, red leather spine label (top and base of spine repaired). Third edition, Cotes version of imprint. Including nine new chapters by another anonymous author, and also an anonymous second book added to Scot's first book of A discourse concerning the nature and substance of devils and spirits , added in this third impression, as succedaneous to the first, and conducing to the compleating of the whole work . Wing S-945A; Norman 1917.
