Various sizes between circa 22 x 28 cm and 15 x 20 cm. 2 signed by Burke in the negative, each mounted to both sides of board (traces of use, soiling in edges), some annotated on the mount in ink. The images include a pile of military "trophies" after the Battle of Peiwar Kotal 1878, a view of Peiwar Kotal, the camp of Dargai, Chakdara Bridge, a mule battery and other images of the Second Anglo Afghan War. – Some fading in edges, otherwise in good condition.
