Die Globen als mit Gips überzogene Pappmaché-Kugeln mit 12 handkolorierten Segmenten in Kupferstich bezogen, Vollkreismeridian in Messing mit 4 x 90°-Teilung, fein gravierte Stundenringe aus Messing mit 24-Stunden-Teilung, vierfüßige gedrechselte Holzgestelle in Mahagoni, die Papierauflagen der Horizontringe mit Angabe von Himmelsrichtungen, Tierkreiszeichen und Gradeinteilungen, Firnis nachgedunkelt und partiell abgeplatzt. Durchmesser: Jeweils ca. 30 cm. Höhen: Ca. 47 cm.

Wollaston F.R.S. are accurately laid down, their right Acensions & Declinations having been recalculated for the Year 1840, by W. Newton Manufactured by NEWTON & SON 66 Chancery Lane and 3, Fleet St. Temple Bar. London Published Jan 1, 1853”, each globe with twelve hand coloured copper engraved globe gores mounted on plaster and cardboard sphere, graduated brass meridian circles, brass hour dials, each horizon with paper calendar showing the seasons, compass directions, zodiac, days and months, turned wooden mahogany stands with four columns, the varnish darkened and partly loss of varnish. Diameter of each globe c. 30 cm, heights c. 47 cm.
