Rodgers writes, "On a happy day, of a happy and good friend. / Dick Rodgers." Goddard is probably Goddard Lieberson (1911-1977), the long-time president of Columbia Records.

3. PORTER, COLE. 1891-1964. Cut Signature ("Cole Porter") clipped from legal document, 33 x 95 mm, n.p., n.d., matted with sheet music to "I've Got You Under My Skin" from Born to Dance and framed to 525 x 365 mm.
