Title in red and black with braid border and engraved central device, 2 full page engravings including one after Rubens. 8 silk ribbon place markers affixed to leaves mostly intact. Contemporary embossed silver binding over leather-trimmed paste boards with foliate surrounding central figures (Mary to upper cover) surmounted with cherub faces and shells at corners, spine with bead borders and petal design in panels, by Geovacchino Belli, his hallmarks to upper cover, a.e.g. Condition: marginal spotting to a few leaves.
