Housed in full case with green velvet interior, reinforced at hinge. Accompanied by small slip of paper reading, "Mae Levan family, North Greenfield, Logan County, Ohio formerly Mudsock." Image in top condition, with very strong contrast. Sixth plate tintype of a seated Union private proudly displaying his Marston pistol, his holster visible in his belt. Housed in full thermoplastic case with geometric/scroll design. Few chips in case, including top right corner. Some light surface wear to tintype, including few nicks. Sixth plate ambrotype of a man in civilian dress displaying a 36 caliber Colt revolver in front of his chest. Housed under patriotic mat and in case with gilt flag design on cover. Some light surface wear to plate (but not examined outside case). Some light surface wear to case, reinforced at hinge.
