.32 S&W Long. 4" barrel length. SN: 279246. Double-action hand-ejector revolver with hard rubber grips and five screw frame. Nickel finish overall including to screws. Standard manufacturer and cartridge markings to flanks of barrel with top showing two-line address and patent markings. Patent marks include 1901 dates indicating early manufacture. Scratches to cylinder and light pits near muzzle filled in with nickel indicating refinish at some point. Condition: Very Good as refinished. Bore is frosty with some residue and dust throughout. Nickel finish shows some light scratches and an abrasion to right barrel near cartridge marking. Flanks of hammer and triggerguard have some gray patina forming but some casehardening visible to sides of hammer and rear of trigger. Front of trigger shows a brown patina. Grips have some handling wear and weakening of checkering with scuffs and abrasions on butt. Scratch to Smith & Wesson logo on left grip. Cylinder has a continuous drag line. Action indexes correctly and locks up with slight wiggle. Some scratches to cylinder and light pits near muzzle filled in with nickel.
