Arranged alphabetically by country, the volume concludes with semi-constructivist montage salutes to Der Sturm, Merz, the Bauhaus and other bases of the avant-garde. The design, by Aladjalov, is dynamic throughout, with bold black and red layout, and alphabetical tabs at right, a feature reminiscent of Duchamp’s layout for ‘Some French Moderns Says McBride’, published by the Société Anonyme in 1922″ (Ars libri Cat 117, 231). – Ecken mit kleiner Stauchspur, sonst gut erhaltenes Exemplar.
