Solaia--Vintage 1997 Tuscany, Antinori Lots 19-20 in individual original wooden cases Lot 21 in original carton "The greatest Solaia ever made, it is a solid, muscular red. Dark ruby in color, with extremely ripe, raisin and spice aromas, it's full-bodied and very chewy, with loads of polished tannins and a long, long finish. This is a classic wine for long-term aging. About 7,000 cases were produced of the predominately Cabernet Sauvignon blend (75 percent), which also contains Sangiovese (20 percent) and a dash of Cabernet Franc (5 percent)."
